2007 in review

So... end of 2007. Wow.

This year was the most anticipated year.. for me anyway.

Not because of the fact that I turn 18 this year, or that it's the year of the HSC ie. end of school.. but because the number 7 was my favourite number as a kid. I couldn't wait to have 07 on the back of my Year 12 jersey.

And now it's over..

So what HAVE I learnt/achieved/done this year ?

Well for one, I've drunk/drinked/drunken more cups of coffee than ever before in my life hahaha.

I've realised I can go for an entire year barring my best friend/s.

I've also realised that keeping 4u English, as stressful as it was and as unrewarding as it was, was probably the best decision I made this year.

I finally learnt what true friends are.. because I've been fortunate enough to have them.

I learnt that imaginative journeys are the lamest things ever, and speeches aren't really all that 'outstanding' or 'inspirational'.

I learnt that a clarinet in Bb when playing a C in concert pitch will sound like a Bb and that C.B. doesn't stand for 'Contrabasoon' but 'Double Bass'. (And that trbe. is actually a trumpet, and not a trombone)

I learnt that it IS possible to be friends with your teachers. Maddest props ever to the 2 best English teachers in the world - Rob & Ms. Mac both whom I owe so much to.

I also found out (the hard way) that it's possible to be addicted to asian dramas.

This year was the year I experienced the toughest week of my life - the week before trials. No doubt, the hardest thing I've ever done was live through that week.

This year was also the year I experienced disappointment and heartbreak, yet unfailing support, as well as freedom.

This year, I struggled the most, I cried the most, I smiled the most, I learnt the most.

So this is to JOYKIM (HAHAHAHA look at it go!) & Kat who stuck by me every step of the way no matter how shit I've treated them =)

This is to Rier who's always been there for me and for teaching me the entire Biology syllabus in 4 and a half hours. Thank you for being my neighbour cos I like how I only have to walk for 90 seconds before I can see you

This is to Grace & Cat & Affey - year 7 buddies who have never stopped being buddies all these years :))))

This is to Norman & Kelli who've put up with my abuse for long enough hahahha

This is to Alice for still believing in me.

This is to Jasse for sitting next to me in English and Bio HAHAHAH thanks so much

This is to Oliv for.. you know. The great 7 months we had of not talking :)

This is to Deb.. for everything.

Ok this is getting really long

POINT IS, 2007 has been my best year yet

So, here's to a NEW YEAR and new goals, to more laughter and tears, to more friendships and fights.

& goodbye blog. Goodbye readers. Thank you so much for reading, honestly, it meant a lot to me haha, even though I probably don't know most of you.. this blog has served as a great outlet for me these past 2 and a half years. Wow, I kinda don't want to stop blogging anymore =/ Maybe I'll come back after a while :)
